Keep it PUNK !

Music has been a big part in my life since i left to East LA. And the one that stands out the most is Punk rock. Like how much history was in the making, how memorable people died to put their music in history or even a young mans life [like mine], since then i felt like a rebel and i came out with hi skate black checkered Vans shoes, a 30 x 34 [yeah that is my true pant size] pair of Levis, and a Band tee of the Ramones, and a belt buckle of the Misfits. And for you fellow "Puck rock Virgins", Punk Rock is a genre that developed in between 1974 and 1976 in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. It was rooted in garage rock and other forms of what is now known as "proto punk" music, punk rock bands eschewed the perceived excesses of mainstream 1970's rock. They created fast, hard edged music, typically with short songs with many bands self-producing their recordings and distributing them through informal channels, if you know what i mean ['wink 'wink]. By late 1976, bands such as the Ramones, in the big apple, and the Sex Pistols and The Clash from London, they were all recognized as the vanguard of a new musical movement. The next year Rock spread around the world. Punk suddenly, became a major Cultural phenomenon in the United Kingdom. For the most part, punk took root in local scenes that tended to reject association with the mainstream. An associated punk subculture emerged, expressing clothing styles and a variety of anti-authoritian ideoligies. By the beginning of 1980, it  got more aggressive and hardcore and they came with the dumbest bands of all like -Green day-, or -the offspring-, these bands really make me sick. Punk for me has been and will be in my heart.
